Jerry, Thank you for helping make a dream come true! I have always wanted to take a guided fishing trip on Texoma, and never thought it would happen. My dad, son, and I had a GREAT time catching some awesome fish. You were very helpful with Cameron and your skillful tutoring of him will always be remembered. I appreciate your efforts to put us on some good fish because I know it isn't as easy as you make it look. Finally, thank you for your prompt and continued communication with my oldest son, Chris, as the two of you gave me a fantastic retirement gift.

Hello JD, I can't say in words of how much I enjoyed our fishing trip on April 23, It was one of the best fishing trips I've ever had catching quality fish. I have to say your professionalism was top notch, and you were very pleasant to fish with. I will defiantly be calling on you for another trip in the future. I'll never forget about my trip and the memories I made with my father in-law Clarence Bear for as long as I live. I also have told a few buddies about the experience and they are looking to book with you. So, expect a few calls coming from some of them in Oklahoma.

P.S. For giving me such a great experience, I'm posting a report on our motorcycle rider’s website which covers Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri with your information. Thanks for a great time and I look forward to fishing with you again real soon.

Thanks again for making our 39th anniversary one to be remembered. We not only had a great time, but in all my years fishing, I've never seen it so fast and furious. We got to the spot around 7:00 AM and limited out by 7:40. What a trip.

I can truly say we enjoyed being with you as much as we enjoyed the fishing. You are a great guy and a GREAT GUIDE.

I couldn't believe the number of fish surface feeding on the lake the morning we fished (Jul 12 2008). Once they started they didn't stop. We used everything from top water, slabs, sassy shads and live bait. The experience is one my brothers and I enjoyed and hope to enjoy again in the future. We really enjoyed fishing with you Jerry and will come back in the future.

Hey J.D. , We had a great time. We couldn't of had a better guy to guide us, you seemed to have had as much fun as we did and that's one of the things that will have us coming back soon. My dad said over and over on the trip home that he couldn't remember the last time he had so much fun or caught so many fish in one day. The next time I come down I will try not to catch all the fish but I'm not making any promises. I'll be talking to you soon to set up anouther trip. .

I've been fishing with JD several times and I truly had a wonderful time. Not only do you catch alot of fish but you catch a lot of laughs as well!!! I would highly recommend JD to anybody that wants a serious guide to take you where can catch some nice fish. He guarantees that you will catch fish and he also makes sure that you have a good time as well. You won't find a better guide on Lake Texoma than JD.

I was recently one of a party of 17 guys (4 boats ) of people who used Cross Creek Guide Service. These people know there stuff. J.D. makes sure you get where the fish are. I would reccomend J. D. Dorsey Guide Service to anyone who loves to fish.

J.D. Dorsey is a guide's guide. I have used guides in hunting, flyfishing and bass fishing and none have gotten close to Dorsey when it comes to hard work, knowledge and most importantly...good old fashioned results. This guy knows his stuff and makes sure you get on the fish. Not to mention he is alot of fun. Just don't get in front of his fish finder while he's working. I lost an eye doing just that. I can't reccomend anyone any higher than I would J.D. Dorsey.

JD, has been part of my families lives for about seven years. I have never been with him that we didn't catch large fish and fill our limit. Until this year. But, the weather turned on us, and it got very cold and blustery, and I am talking about some wind, almost biblical proportion wind. Although we did catch fish, and a few "big" ones. And as usual Mr. Dorsey hunted for them as hard as ever. Never once in the seven or so years have we ever left fishing with JD, that we felt that he could have done better. I am not a fisherman, I don't even like to fish. My brothers talked me into coming with them into going with them that first year and I have been going ever sense. A brother-in-law to my older brother. gave him his spot on this trip because he and the men that were to be with him couldn't go, for their work schedule changed. I do not fish with anyone else, because I don't like to fish. JD, makes it worth my time to fish because, well, "he is just so cute"! Truely, JD knows what he is doing and the time and money that is put into the trip and knowing that you will catch fish makes just good sense, and it is fun. And this is from a person that doesn't like fishing.

My wife and I scheduled an impromptu fishing trip with JD on 10/Aug/06. The temperature was hot and the fishing started a little slow. However with his professional persistence, JD also kept the fishing hot. We ended up with plenty of fish, including some trophy size stripers. We had a fantastic time with a fantastic guide.

We chose Jerry Dorsey because of his easy going and professional attitude towards the trips he takes. Instead of focusing on catching a few big fish, he does what it takes to limit out often catching large fish in the process. Our trip was no different. We caught the first striper that morning on our side of the lake, and limited out on 40 fish by lunch time. JD covers every detail needed to catch lots of fish as soon as possible. We had an amazing time on a beautiful lake and highly recommend the experience!
